Northfield Farmers’ Market Opening Day—May 25!


It is hard to believe that spring is finally here! With spring comes the 36th season for the Northfield Farmers’ Market. Mark you calendars for opening day, Saturday, May 24th at 6 Happ Road in Northfield, across from New Trier Township High School Northfield Campus.

Each Saturday, 7:30am to 12:30 pm through October 18, farmers, greenhouses, bakers and other vendors display their goods. The market is a treasured Northfield tradition and is a great place to spend a Saturday morning.

The Northfield Farmers’ Market provides a vast array of newly picked fruits and vegetables, freshly cut flowers as well as potted plants and flowers. Shoppers can also purchase baked specialty goods, pastas, pesto sauce, olive oil and coffee. There is a gourmet cheese vendor as well as locally made baked goods.
