Dunkin’ Brands, the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, named Karim Khoja of North Shore Management Group in Northfield, Ill., as the 2015 Dunkin’ Donuts Developer of the Year — one of the company’s highest distinctions – at the 10th annual Dunkin’ Brands Franchisee & Enterprise Awards Ceremony held recently in Boston.

“Karim took over his family business, North Shore Management Group, in 1998 and has since grown it from four Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants to 60 locations,” said John Gaiman, Vice President of Store Development for Dunkin’ Brands. “Some of the group’s most aggressive growth occurred in 2015 when it added 12 new restaurants, including one located at the top tourist attraction in Chicago, Navy Pier. Karim and his team take great care in site selection and restaurant development, contributing to why we selected him as our Dunkin’ Donuts Developer of the Year.”
