The WNCC Welcomes The Winnetka Club to New Location!

The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 15 in conjunction with an open house for the Winnetka Club’s move to their new location at 460 Winnetka Avenue, Winnetka. Since its beginnings in 1908, The Winnetka Club has been an integral part of the civic and philanthropic life in Winnetka and throughout the North Shore. The Club (formerly known as the Winnetka Woman’s Club) has a well-recognized history of service during times of economic expansion, depression, war and peace. They are committed to supporting charitable and civic service projects. Today, one of their programs provides scholarships to graduating seniors living in the New Trier Township. In 2014, The Winnetka Club made financial contributions to 16 other local 501c3 charities and recently supported community events including The Veteran’s Day program and The Martin Luther King Day of Service.Congratulations to the Winnetka Club!
