Linkage Referral Group
The Winnetka/Northfield Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to join our networking group Linkage.
Linkage is a professional referral group made up of our own Chamber members. The purpose of the group is to have highly-motivated, energetic people who will commit the time and effort to grow both their own business and that of other members of the referral group. The basic goal shall be to exchange business referrals and extend loyalty in the form of referrals to other members.
We meet the first two Wednesdays of the month from 7:30-8:30 am, at Baird & Warner, 596 Green Bay Road in Winnetka. On occasion we will meet at local restaurants in the evenings. It is important to meet regularly so that all members of the group can gain a strong understanding of one another’s professional character as well as everyone’s ideal client introduction.
Only one professional is allowed in each specialty so there is no competition for referrals.
We invite you to consider this opportunity to network in a more dedicated setting with your fellow Chamber members. You will increase your own exposure to many other people and businesses thus helping yourself and other members.

Bob began as a mobile auto Repair, which is where the name came from; CARS of America, Inc is the acronym for Come-to-you Auto Repair Service. CARS Inc was taken in 1972 when he applied to the State of Illinois, so we added “of America”.

He also serve as an adviser and presenter to Glenbrook South High School Stem Training Classes, Lake County Technical Center, and College of Lake county. Bob advocates for Women Vehicle Owners and present educational information to women’s groups upon request.
Bob received his MBA from the College of Hard Knocks, attended from 1972 until he’s done.
He is married to Lisa with one daughter, Kelly, who is the controller for CARS. She has been with the company since 1986.
Bob’s hobbies include skiing, raising orchids, and Musky fishing. In a previous life, he maintained a SCCA Professional Racing license, an IMSA License, a F.I.A International License, and high performance driving instructor.
He is dedicated to educating his clients so they make confident decisions, monitor and understand costs and performance, and achieve their long term financial goals.
